Backup Services
The AVC Backup Services provide a robust and resilient business continuity
service which allows your business to stay connected and operational at a time
when your normal operation is compromised.
The solution provides a direct connection to the internet via satellite that is not
dependent on BT or any UK based infrastructure.
Our back–up solution provides your business with the reassurance that in the time of
trouble you can be assured that you are still connected.
The service is provided from either of our two satellite products the 9000 or the
3020. Installation and hardware costs are the same as for the standard services but the monthly operating cost are significantly lower. You simply pay for the amount of data transferred. There are no FUP restrictions applied.
The service is provided on a shared usage platform so the performance remains
subject to overall traffic. A dedicated bandwidth service is available on a bespoke basis.
The system must remain operational; any de–activation at the site could
affect
performance.
The AVC back–up service is supplied on the basis that usage patterns are for
temporary and exceptional use. We reserve the right to alter the pricing model if the site is generating traffic for three or more consecutive service months, or if the amount of transferred data remains significant over a time period of more than 4 consecutive weeks.
